Hi, my name is Micaela.
I am an interior decorator and crafter with a passion for colour and crochet. Ever since I was young I have loved creating, working with textiles and all things design.
After years of crochet projects I wanted to take this traditional craft and put my own contemporary twist on it.
Many people have probably heard of extreme knitting by now and I thought why not extreme crochet instead?
After experimenting with many different yarns, I just love working with K1S1 for throw rugs, a gorgeous felted merino designed and developed for high end products. For floor rugs and storage baskets I tend to use Megalo wool, a hard crafting wool handmade by artisans under Fair Trade conditions.
In my workshops you will extreme crochet a lap blanket using a basic stitch so even those new to crochet will have a completed piece to take home.
You can also buy one of my ready made products in my shop and I can also custom make to fit your personal style. All handmade by me in Sydney, Australia.
